With redesigned underframe, the new generation GSX-R600 is proud with its “senior” and competitors with quite a moderate weight of about 187.8 kg, reducing by nearly 9 kg in comparison with model 2010.
The “heart” of GSX-R600 is 2 stroke engine DOHC 16V 4 linear cylinders, cubic capacity of 599cc, liquid-cooled, diameter and piston stroke of 67 mm x 42.5 mm, generating a power of 125 hp at speed of 13.500 r/m and torque moment of 70Nm at speed of 11.500 r/m. This engine has pressure ratio of 12.9:1, applying direct liquid fuel technology, digital ignition system and combined with 6-speed gearbox of transmission. The maximum speed that GSX-R600 2011 may reach is 265 km/h.
GSX-R600 2011 has standard “body” measurement of 2.030 mm long, 710 mm wide, 1.135 mm high and wheel base of 1.385 mm. Sporty, young, strong style with two dominant colors White and Blue, with seat height of 810 mm, which is changeable lower. Those are the advantages of this motor model. GSX-R600 2011has gasoline tank capacity of 17 litters.
In Britain market, after applying a VAT law providing a rise of 20%, Japanese motor brand had to increase the price of 5 favorite motor models including Suzuki Gladius SFV650 5.465 £ (8.465 USD), GSX1250FA 7.865 £ (12.185 USD) and GSX-R1000 10.825 £ (16.770 USD).
Suzuki GSX-R600 2011 and its brother GSX-R750 have just been introduced at EICMA Show 2010 taking place in Milan last November.
